Through your donation we have been able to accomplish goal of supporting i\u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003endividuals with disabilities who may use service animals and emotional support animals for a variety of reasons\u003c\/span\u003e and continue working towards supporting \u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eEmotional Support Animals or Comfort Animals which are often used as part of a medical treatment plan as therapy animals, \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cu data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003ethey are not considered service animals under the ADA.\u003c\/u\u003e\u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e These support animals provide companionship, relieve loneliness, and sometimes help with depression, anxiety, and certain phobias, but do not have special training to perform tasks that assist people with disabilities.
